The first time I met Miss Avery at her First 48 Session, she was sleeping like a champ. At her newborn session 7 days later, she wouldn't take her eyes off of me. I have never seen such an alert newborn in the many years I've been photographing them. She wasn't just looking at me....she was taking in her new world. Her eyes followed me when I moved and for those of you who know newborns, they usually don't do that at 8 days old. Keep being curious, sweet Avery! The world is a wonderful place. :)
